Kara Hickman
Kara Hickman is an Offer Manager in EMC Global Services Storage Managed Services group, driving the Storage as a Service and Backup and Recover as a Service offerings. Kara has over 13 years’ experience in the IT industry across multiple verticals, most recently in EMC Consulting’s Cloud & Virtual Data Center ITSM Practice. Kara has delivered numerous IT Operations engagements with a focus on ITIL assessments and implementations.

Capacity Management is the ITIL area that Kara has the deepest knowledge and widely regarded as a trusted advisor in the area. Previously, Kara’s focus was on Project and Program Management. Kara has started Project Management Offices from the ground up and has applied her expertise in project and program management methodology at numerous sites to drive delivery efficiency and quality.

Kara is a certified PMP (Project Management Professional) and ITCPM (IT Certified Project Management) and holds a B.S. in Psychology from Vanderbilt University.
